Alex Tabrizi with MAT Engineering, Inc. provided a peer review of the traffic analysis. Retired CalFire Captain Ron Lewin, Resolute Associates, LLC assessed the Draft EIR regarding wildfires and evacuations. Both reports can be found at the link above. There is no clear consensus on whether Placerita Canyon residents believe Shadowbox is a good or bad or so-so fit for the canyon. However, most can likely agree that whatever the outcome, residents of Placerita Canyon want to be seen and heard so that the final project works as best it can for all. To submit comments to the Draft Placerita Canyon Special Standards District Regarding the Placerita Canyon Special Standards District (PCSSD) overlay, the photo outlines the boundary (shaded tan). The PCSSD does not include the Special Standards District for Porta Bella to the north or the Old Town Newhall overlay to the southwest of Placerita Canyon (also shaded tan).
